Stacey R. Coventry, MSB, C-AAIS Team Koda, Team Obie, Too & Team Pigeon
As Executive Director of Pet Partners of Eastern Maine, Stacey Coventry leads with a vision rooted in compassion, connection, and community impact. With more than two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, volunteer engagement, and community outreach, Stacey has been instrumental in expanding access to animal-assisted interventions across the region. Her work bridges healthcare, education, and community spaces—bringing the healing power of therapy animals to those who need it most.
Stacey Coventry is a passionate leader, advocate, and educator in the field of animal-assisted interventions. Stacey holds a background in communications, sociology, and nonprofit management, along with specialized training in animal-assisted therapy.In 2026, Stacey earned her credentials as a Certified Animal-Assisted Intervention Specialist (C-AAIS) through the Association of Animal Assisted Intervention Professionals (AAAIP).
She is the founder of The Koda Project, a consulting and education initiative focused on safe, ethical, and sustainable therapy animal programming. Stacey is also a certified evaluator with Pet Partners and has helped grow a thriving network of therapy animal teams serving hospitals, schools, and community organizations across Maine.
Inspired by her own therapy dog partners—Aiden, Nala, Koda, Obie, and Pigeon—Stacey’s work is grounded in the belief that connection heals, and that even the smallest moments of comfort can create lasting change.
